The Diesel Cleaning System

We have developed a diesel fuel cleaning system which takes diesel from the fuel tank, then filters out contaminants (including diesel bug, silt, debris and water) and returns the diesel to the tank clean.

We aim to remove most if not all of the diesel fuel contaminants to aid you with trouble free boating between service intervals using a 3 stage process;

  1. Remove water and large debris (diesel bug, silt, foreign bodies) into a separate tank.
  2. Circulate diesel through filters to remove smaller debris and any remaining water or diesel bug
  3. Circulate the diesel through fine-filters (10 micron) until the diesel runs clean and add Diesel Bug Treatment (if required) or Diesel fuel Treatment to system (included in price).

Although access to the fuel tank is key in guaranteeing successful removal of all contaminants, as long as we can get our pipes into the tank the Diesel Clean Machine will stir up any debris and will eventually be sucked out of the fuel tank. This process will continue until all filters run clear in the Diesel Clean Machine.

There is no time limit to this process and we do not charge for our time on site so if the job takes 3 hours or 6 hours you will not be charged extra. The Diesel Clean Machine requires access to mains power.(240v)

Charges are as follows;

  • Single diesel tank £250
  • Twin diesel tanks £350
  • First 2 fine-filters FREE, £20 for each additional filter (2 filters sufficient for average contamination)
  • Fuel line removal to clear blockages or any additional work charges would be agreed before work carried out.
  • If engine fuel filters need to be changed we do not charge to change them and only charge you for their cost. You can supply the fuel filters yourself in which case there will be no charge at all!
  • Unfortunately sometimes Marinas will charge for contractors to work on their premises so this charge would have to be added to the bill (normally around £25).
  • There will be additional charges for travel to the Isle of Wight and outside Fareham and Southampton City areas to be agreed at the time of booking.

My company is based on the belief that my customers' needs are of the utmost importance. We are committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from referrals.

We would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the best service in the industry.

I operate along the South of England including the Isle Of Wight.
